Grey Knights seem a solid idea, though I think I'd probably focus them more as Inquisitorial henchmen. But on the other hand, I'd really like to have a kitted out Inquisitor ally for my SoB, which limits my Troops choices to something GK (as I don't want to use Coteaz). Strike squads seem like a solid idea, though, even though they are psykers, the Warp Quake could be explained as a potent null zone that disrupts tracking and landing.

I thought about Dark Angels, but seeing the art and lore, that just seems a little plain for them. SoS would be, basically, groundpounding Marines and I've already got plenty of those with my SoB.

My thoughts exactly. Plus, I bought a box of GK and the kit comes with 2 sets of backpacks... I used the first set for the vanilla GK allies for my IG (Gallery Link), so when I saw them in the ol' bitz box the concept just sprang forth like Athena.

Thing is, regardless of whether they were destroyed or disbanded, there's no organization in M41 called the Sisters of Silence. However, given that the Inquisition operates the Black Ships that collect the Psyker Tithe and delivers them to Terra for sanctioning (or becoming the God-Emperor's bon-bons), I would surmise that the Pariahs that act as the guards aboard those vessels are what came of the Sisters of Silence.

This isn't to say that every person aboard one of the Black Ships is a Blank (they're far too rare for that), but I can imagine that the crew decks are kept apart from the holds by psi-inert/psi-blocking materials, while the guards that overlook the psykers are, and there may not need to be a lot of them.

Or they have a bunch of regular Naval armsmen as the guards, wearing null-fields and the like, who are lead by the descendants of the Sisters of Silence (in an organizational sense). I'm not sure what else can be said. There's really not much information about the Sisters of Silence available, as you've likely found out on your own. They're a very minor, fringe faction during an era in the setting where the focus was on an entirely different set of protagonists.

Perhaps the Black Ships are still manned by some - but, the enormous growth of Chaos and Warp-related battles relative to the Crusade means they're put to better use elsewhere.

You could probably just "Count-As" with either retinue or SoB stats, albeit without Faith powers.
Pop on a "Blank"-style power like minus leadership, "Deny the Witch", etc. Increase instability rolls for nearby warp entities (Avatar, Daemons, etc.)
