Test of LA Awesome vs Purple Clean

I did a comparison of LA Awesome and Purple Clean. Here are the before photos:

I soaked these for the exact same time (about 5 days) and took a brush to each mini after soak. Here are the after photos:

Purple Clean:

LA Awesome:

I bought a ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight and will try stripping the next batch of minis in that.

I have used Purple Clean (super clean, whatever it is called now) for a long time and it has worked well for me but I may just have to test out LA Awesome next go around. Both seem to work nicely.

I just started using LATA, and I'm loving it. It doesn't do much on enamel primers, but nothing I've found does... Other than that all the acrylic paint I've used it on, drops right off with the lightest toothbrushing.

Test of LA Awesome vs Purple Clean

The LA Awesome cleans a little better than the PC.

More of the green came off on the bottom left termagant and the Genestealer came out much better in the LA Awesome.

If I have time tomorrow, I cam post better pics.

Love to know how the ultrasonic cleaner works and what your process is with it. There's a Harbor Freight right up the road from me. Did you get the $80 one or the $30 one?

I would not recommend the small one. It is ridiculously small. I bought the larger, $80 one instead.

If you anyone is looking to purchase one, I found a 20% off entire purchase coupon, code is 16355144. Good through May 2013.
