				<description><![CDATA[ Hey all, I have a sort of weird request for you today <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> I have had a 1500pt army for a while now (1-1.5 months) and have noticed dire weaknesses in my list. Firstly, flyers have been oblitiaritng me, one player in particular is a big fan of vendetta spam, so a anti-air unit is needed. Secondly,  monsterous creatures have been a real pain to get rid off, and with my luck Ezekiel usually fails his psychic test or can't charge far enough. A Whirlwind Hyperios platform/tank (noone should have any problems if you proxy a normal one) might be a better investment. You get interceptor that way, meaning you can fire at the flyer the moment it ends its movement in his turn. That's the only other suggestion I can make, the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> flyers are just a joke when it comes to flyer hunting. ]]></description>

It has all the rules for all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> flyers and I think most of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> units. The same issues are not common with the Contemptor, I can assure you. I've got one myself, and personally its one of my favorite models in my Space Marine collection. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Your army lacks focus/synergy, some of the issues I can see outright:<br /> <br /> -only 2 pods, means 1 pod will come in on turn 1 and most likely your tactical squad will get targetted quickly and you will lose half of your scoring units right away.<br /> <br /> -your bike elements will work well with each other but the rest of your army do not complement them: no transports for your vets (which already aren't a great unit in the first place), where does Ezekiel go?  He can't join the tacts in the pods (already at full capacity), can't join the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> Knights if you're gonna <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(471);'>DS</span> them, can't join the bikes...<br /> <br /> At 2k your list gets a bit better with the addition of a 3rd pod and the Devastators for some fire-support.<br /> <br /> Here are some of the things I think you should shave off:<br /> <br /> -lose the vets, they don't bring much to the table and don't have any transports anyway<br /> <br /> -lose the deathwind upgrades on the pods, they can't fire upon arrival anyway and a smart player will quickly move out of its short range<br /> <br /> Some of the things I would add that would compliment your army nicely:<br /> <br /> -a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, stick the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> Knights and Ezekiel for a crazy Deathstar (WS6 on everyone, T5, lvl3 Psyker with access to Divination...)<br /> <br /> -add a Devastation banner to your command squad, after turn 1's forward move and pods you can have 2 tactical squads, a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, and 4 bikes within range of it for some serious firepower<br /> <br /> -try to add an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(637);'>ADL</span> with quad-gun to intercept incoming flyers with your devastator squad while giving them some good cover, the sergeant can use his <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 5 to ensure some hits.<br /> <br /> These are just some ideas, I understand you won't be able to fit everything in terms of points, you would have to lose other units.<br /> <br /> I also agree about the Mortis-Contemptor with dual Kheres and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(417);'>CML</span>, it's a beast, I own one and the model itself is great, on the table if you give it some decent cover it will shred just about anything in range.]]></description>

</div><br /> I really liked the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> death star idea, as I've had problems with deep striking the DWKs. My plan is for Alpha and Omega to come down first, and use their plasma weapons to make a pretty big initial attack on the enemy force, hence the locator beacons for their pods. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>Btw</span>, the banner of devestation salvo thing is only 6", hence why I didn't add it. I don't think I'd be able to fit much into that radius.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ List looks better!<br /> <br /> I'm still a bit confused about your tactics, on turn 1 you'll only have 4 plasma shots as the plasma cannons can't shoot.<br /> <br /> The beacons won't do anything on turn 1, and then you don't have anything else deep striking in subsequent turns, so why bother taking them in the first place???  The 3rd pod will come down fairly safely (beacon or not).<br /> <br /> If you take the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> as a heavy support choice (instead of dedicated transport) you don't have to take the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> vehicle option which saves you another 30 points if you drop the beacons that's a total of 50pts.  That's an extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> Knight, or another bike in your command squad (per <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(36);'>FAQ</span>)...<br /> <br /> Anyway, your list looks a bit more put together now, hope you have fun!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I play a lot of quite squishy armies at my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(38);'>FLGS</span>,  who don't have many things that require heavy weaponry.  The tacticals have them so they can deal with heavier units relatively easily if someone brings them. <br /> I agree with you on the locator beacons, I have a nasty habit of reading rules and not really thinking about how they translate onto the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(497);'>TT</span>,  the zone where the first two deep strike would probably be too crowded anyway. <br /> I didn't realise you could transport termites in an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> without the upgrade, thanks for pointing that out.  <br /> If I were to drop the plasma cannons (as most of the time they'd either be dead the first turn or have nothing to shoot at) ,  what could I add instead? ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Since you're podding all 3 tacts, I would swap at least one to a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> to have the option of snap-firing with a krak.<br /> <br /> You can also mitigate the wasted turn with the plasma cannon by combat-squadding it and deploying it in cover out of the pod.  That way it's already in position for turn 2.]]></description>
