But I'm a little nervous about the Deathwatch. I plan to use the vanilla SM codex, but to be honest, I don't really know a lot about their war gear fluff or any restrictions. I understand the color scheme including leaving one of the shoulder pads as the original chapter colors, but d they have a regular contingent of termis? Do they have specific vehicles that they do or do not use?

Deathwatch don't have a 1st company. They aren't a chapter in the same way other chapters are. Their organisation differs depending on who's interpretation you use, GW's or FFGs.

The Deathwatch do use terminator armour. But because the deathwatch don't operate in the same way other chapters do you don't have a force made up of various squads.
