What's the best way to pre-mix old citadel paints for an army?

Hi All,

Painting an Orc/Goblin army.

I want to pre-mix some bottles of Catachan and Camo green so that I can have the paint ready to speed up the painting process. What is the best/least wasteful way to do this?

Thanks!

KT

I did something similar, a while back for my orks (it was 1:1 orkhide shade/goblin green, don't know the new names)

I just dumped 1 pot of each into a plastic cup, stirred like a madman, then carefully poured it back into the two pots (then peeled off the labels). Worked fine for me

Given how watery most GW acrylics are, you won't waste too much that way.

If you're going for a specific mix 1:1 or 2:3 or something and have access to an empty GW pot or even better IMO an empty Vallejo/reaper style dropper bottle, mark the outside of the bottle with lines from where measured amounts of water come to in the bottle. So if you wanted 1/2 camo and 1/2 catachan you would want a mark at 6 ml and one at 12 ml for the 12 ml GW pot. Then you know where you need to pour each one to based on the lines on the bottle. Then you can just shake like crazy to mix.
