Loremaster is great in low point battles because he fulfills multiple roles. But by then getting a back up wizard you are essentially wasting this. Drop the mage and put those points into another unit.

I would put Caledor armour on bsb. Then merwyrm on the Loremaster, book of Hoeth, khaines ring and warrior bane. Drop a PG and you'll still have a block of 28. Drop the bolt thrower and you've got 230 points to spend.

Push the Spearmen into 1 unit of again 28 . Then get 5 Reavers with bows to fill core and give you a chaff unit for WM hunting. This costs 2 extra points. So you've 228 points.
