Inspired by some of the Necron work seen around on blogs recently I decided to paint a full Dynasty of Space Robots in a Rusty theme, just in time to give ForgeWorld all of my money for the new IA units.


Annihilation Barge

I've decided to keep gun platforms retain a contrasting scheme to the main theme. Whilst Guass will remain eerie Greem. Tesla I want to have the blue electric feel and then heat weapons will have the red/orange glow.






Night Scythe

Finished the Scythe combing two techniques I liked from the Den of Imagination stuff.

Fired these two up for a test. All of the bases will be snow themed to go with the game board which should provide a striking contrast to the warm oranges and green glows.

First up is a House Rule Barge for the larger games. Nothing too fancy, this is the Extermination Barge which forgoes the TL Tesla Destructors for TL Heavy Gauss Cannons. Same Stats, we just rule it at 10pts more than the base Barge due to the rather powerful nature of the Heavy Guass Cannon.




Secondly, started on some Warriors and their Lord. Sorry for the quality of the photos, was in a bit of a rush at half time in the footy!
