My point was not to debate the definitions of treason my point was that the novel flesh and iron is obviously inspired by RAMBO part II.

Baeder did what Rambo should have done and hurt the people who hurt him and sacrificed his men, helping the Spetznaz not because he likes the pulituro but as an ally against a mutual enemy like Baeder fights as allies with the Gorgans but not their slaves.
