1850 Friendly 3-Round Tournament Report- Death Guard/Nurgle Allies

Hi all!
My local shop is finally having an event that I am excited about attending: an 1850 three round tourney that is labeled "friendly!" Wahoooo! No more WAC-cheese crappy rules-lawyering bull-whooey. Instead, you must submit your list before hand for approval (which also gains you "friendly-points!"), and are limited to no repeats beyond the "troops" section of any codex. So that means no 3 x Annihilation Barges, no 3 x Heldrakes and other non-sense.
The list I am using:

I know this a friendly tournament but I figure someone has to win it, it might as well be me! Right? I am sure "friendly" doesn't mean to load your bolters with cotton and that you take the treads off of your tank. Warhammer is fun (for me at least) because I spend hours upon hours building/painting little men/monsters/tanks, then use them in a game. So, knowing this, I want to try to make sure my men/monsters/tank win, because surely, my opponents will be doing the same.
This list doesn't look anything like lists that have won or placed in recent GTs but I assume it will be no slouch. Plague Marines are still awesome. A tooled up Great Unlcean One will be tough to shift. Chaos Terminators all carry combi weapons and have T5, Heldrake does as Heldrake pleases.
The event has scoring for best painted army, best single model, best unit, best large model, best allied force, best general and friendliest gamer. (did I mention they enjoy the concept of friends?) There are going to be three rounds and each one is a book mission.
Everything I field will be painted to a pretty high standard and I think I might just have a shot at a few of those categories. I even did up a portal glyph.

I'll be on most likely on Sunday to start posting pre-tourney stuff and then round 1. I plan on doing the YJ2 format, well, because he does the best reports on here (sorry Alarios!). Stay tuned!

JY does the best Tournament Batreps, but A does the best combo/themed reports.

I reaaaallly reeaaalllly wanted to go to this today, but birds got into my attic and made a nest in the pipe from my bathroom fan. :(

Instead of killing plaguemarines, I'll be "relocating," little birdies. Boooooooo.

An update!

After three rounds, some hilariously fun games, many dead enemies at the feet of my Great Unclean One, voting, sushi, Monsters and jokes, the dust finally settled. In the aftermath, I had... not won a game. I would finish with 2 losses and 1 draw.
BUT!
There was no best General score or prize!
I did win: Best Sportsman! Apparently 30 years of being a nice guy has finally paid off!
I also won: Best Theme! But I couldn't collect the prize for two wins, so the prize went to the second place winner. He has a beautifully themed Grey Knights ghost army based around Mordak.
And I was the runner up in the three painting categories. I would have LOVED LOVED LOVED to win one of them, but being runner up in all of them was okay too. The best painted single miniature was a great Eldrad. A squad of amazing Killa Kans one best unit and I don't remember what pulled out best large model.
I got a lot of pictures, learned some lessons, saw some amazingly good luck come my way along with some of the bad. All in all, it was the best event I ever took part in. Great job AFK!
