Currently i have stopped using falcon chassis vehicles. Too expensive for too little firepower and too dangerous when they explode. The upgrades are doubly bad. I run tl Scatter Laser + Underslung Shuriken Cannons on all of my Wave Serpents.

As for the other upgrades, don't touch, hull points and the changes to glancing hits made spirit stones not really worth it, vectored engines were never worth it, and now holofields are about 30 points overcosted.
