The only reason why I see why westerners to imitate Anime/Asian characters is because they see Anime/Asian characters which made by Asians based on Asians to be attractive, while they see their own cartoon/western characters made by westermers based on westerners to be unattractive or ugly for short.

As an example, you play Dark Eldar, do you wish you were actually of the Dark Eldar race? Its a freakin' hobby. So what if they dress up like anime characters. I'm not so sure about that. Look at his whole 12 posts. All of them are about bashing whitey (westerners) for playing anime dress up (cosplay). I'm sure even in just 8 years before, westerners still value masculinity very hightly where they still call another westerner who try act/look cute as childish, immature, etc but this days they go on praising the act as a good thing and even prefer to do it than trying to look masculine.

What's going on, are western culture atleast their beauty standard have been taken over by Asian beauty standard?
