Ordo Xenos army

Hey Everyone!
I'm new to dakkadakka, this being my first post.

I've recently come up with the idea of making an ordo xenos inquisitor-led force. It would be an allied army of Space Marines and Imperial guard, with the marines as members of the deathwatch and guard being his own personal force

First thingi need advice on is: what should i use as the inquisitor? i was thinking of either a space marine librarian, or a commissar. The commissar would be good because the aura of discipline and summary execution rules show the inquisitor as a commander you reeaally don't want to get on the wrong side of. The librarian is good because i like psychic inquisitors, and its tougher in combat.

Second, what body should i use for him? i'm going to use the staff from theGrey Knight strike squad box as his main weapon, and i wanted him to be robed and menacing looking.

Finally, any suggestions on what units to use? i have no preference on which side should be the detachment and main force, so i could lean heavier on marines or guard

Eventually i'd like to make this a decent sized force, maybe 1500 points

Hi and welcome to Dakka. You can use something from the game by Gamesworkshop called inquisitor. They have a bunch of selection of nice models in the 'Imperium' & 'Inquisition' section but if you're going to play with them in the 40k game, you made need to make up rules or base the model on another model (for exmpl. commissar).
