Mulciber Miniatures' Big Project -- Tanks! (Now with images!)

I run a small start-up miniatures company, Mulciber Miniatures. While I've got a project in the works with a gaming company to design their minis (a very hush-hush dieselpunk project of awesomeness), I'm currently doing the 3rd party miniatures thing, designing general stuff not specifically connected to any game (and looking for other employment, if you're interested in my work).

I know the 3rd party sci-fi market is flooded with bits manufacturers of all flavors, futuristic cyber-Nazis, bases, and Orks. I want to say now that I have no interest in entering any of those markets. Instead, I plan to focus on my two areas of expertise: vehicles and scenery. As a gamer and treadhead, I find the 3rd party vehicle market very lacking in the 28/32mm scale. And, as most people whine about on Dakka, the alien scenery market is practically non existent.

The scenery may be a while off unless I see serious demand (which, despite the whining, is why there is very little alien scenery out there). So I'm starting in the vehicles market with tanks -- small tanks all the way up to superheavy sized monstrosities. I've got three chassis currently in the works: a medium tank, a heavy tank, and a superheavy. We're trying to work toward a general release, probably with a Kickstarter project so as to score funding for molds and such. At the moment, we're planning everything in high quality resin casting as plastic is too costly for realistic planning.

As projects go forward, I'll post the final images up on this first post with links to the page position of the original post of the vehicle or scenery in question.

So keep an eye on this thread -- I'll be posting the first pics of the superheavy project soon!

Here are some WIP images of a new set of doors I'm working on. They are designed to fold open and seal with magnets.

From the front, in exploded view and assembled:

From the rear:

I hope you guys like them!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
And here's the first of 10 tanks: the Mammon Siege Transport.

This is still WIP, though it is nearing completion. The Mammon is the first of 3 super-heavies based around the same chassis.

From the side:

From the front:

From the top:

Angled image with doors open:

With doors closed:

Rear:

Just to note, the silhouette is for scale purposes only, and I have no affiliation with any miniatures company that may or may not produce miniatures similar to said silhouette. My tanks are of original design, based on WWI and interwar-era tanks of Great Britan and WWII German prototypes. They are of "dieselpunk" design.

I'm still trying to work out printing and casting costs, but when I figure it out, I'll post it up.

Just wait until you see the other 9 tanks! I'll break your bank yet!

The Mark IV I posted up above is deceiving as it has the "tadpole" extension to the track section, making it longer.for crossing trenches. My tank is taller than the Mark IV, but the weight is distributed low and toward the rear which allows it to maintain stability.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The GW Land Raider, however, which looks like a Mark IV with the track sections reversed, would do a wheelie every time it started moving, as the weight is still distributed low and to the rear.
