my possible competetitors are a DE wyches in raiders list and a tau gunline the other lists are easily handled. i am aiming for 1000+ points but i want it to be very competitive.

My advice is that the new 3-in-1 boxes of bikes are going to be one of the more economical ways of getting the army up and running. You may need some converting to get a farseer on a bike but it's minimal. This gives you a highly mobile force and now that shurikens auto wound on 6's and are AP2 on 6's; they will be wrecking a lot out there.
