What if GW were bought out?

Now, I've heard talk about GW being bought out recently, I don't think it's true, maybe it'll happen some time in the future, but I really don't know, I don't know how companies work in such a manner

But if it was bought out by the companies people seem to be mentioning such as Hasbro... what would the results be for the ordinary gamer/customer do you guys think?

I'm just wondering here, as I really don't know enough to properly speculate myself
