Hey from the UK! :)

Hey,

I'm new here, but not new to 40k; I paint and play & am part of a wargaming club. My main army is Chaos Daemons, but I do have a small Dark Eldar army somewhere collecting dust. I have also recently acquired 3 WHFB armies: Bretonians, Orcs & Goblins and Lizardmen (not sure whether to play or sell these yet),

My current projects are converting a Nightbringer into a flying Daemon Prince and painting endless pink horrors. I've posted a pic in the gallery of my newest finished painting project; Mandy the Fateweaver. I also RP regularly; Dark Heresy, Deathwatch, Rogue Trader and am currently playing Pathfinder.

Em

Hey from England! :)

Welcome to dakka! In regards to the WHFB armies, Bretonnia haven't had an army book update since 2004, meaning they're now 2 editions out of date, however this does mean that a lot of older strategies/builds are still usable.
O&G are fairly beginner-friendly (your strategy doesnt need to be much more complex than apply-axe-to-face) and they have a lot of customisability.
Lizardmen are also quite straightforward as their basic troops are tough as nails and they have some of the best magic in the game.

(I'm by no means an expert, mind you so I might be completely wrong and someone will call me out on it )

Thanks for the welcome and the info! If I do start playing WHFB I'm leaning towards the Lizardmen at the moment; I like the models and now, the idea of magic Concentrating on trying to make my Daemons as kickass as possible at the moment however
