Dark eldar colour scheme help

Black as a colour is easy to apply, but when highlighting it it's difficult to achieve an effect that looks good. Usually it looks dark grey or like black armour which some youths have vandalised while the person in the armour was passed out drunk.

Orange is a nice stand out edge effect, have you got some old models you could use to test schemes on? I use the old crappy 2 piece goff ork models. As they have a lot of textures and are unuseable in my ork army. Plus you can keep undercoating them for re-use.

Maybe consider changing the black to dark green/blue/red?
