http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/56.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net   I first saw the Mymeara scheme on Forge World and never thought too much about it until I saw another player at a Fon Du Lac tournament throwing down with them.  The scheme started to grow on my the more I kept drooling over some of the super heavy tanks so I ended up dumping my Ivory and Maroon scheme for this one.  I have a boat load of Scibor and Secret Weapon bases that'll be painted in the Ivory and Maroon scheme that I was going to use before; the bases look great and work well for Eldar with the whole ruined temple thing.  I really enjoy the way this craftworld scheme gives Eldar a much more "futuristic" (in the year 40,000 right?) look while not sacrificing their elegance.  I will be able to showcase/improve my airbrushing with the vehicles and infantry while I can also do the same with handpainting on the bases and aspect warriors. 
  Right now I've got some Dire Avengers just about ready and I hope to get the Wave Serpent done soon after that.  I'm really excited to see this project get finished and now that I'm just about caught up on things I have a bit more time to devote to it.  I hope you all enjoy it.

I finished the turret for this bad boy today and I'm really happy with it for it being such a difficult color scheme for me; this one really tested a lot of my skills. The transition between the blue and green took a while to get the hang of, the large white areas tested my patience, and the gems demanded a steady hand to get all six colors on them.
I still have a few things to touch up in the spots where my hand got wonky and I might pick up some green and blue (the right teal if I'm lucky) oil paints so I can get the lines on the hull to stand out. I also might get some light grey stuff too that will break up the white a bit. At the moment it looks a bit flat. Next up I will be posting some recently completed Dire Avengers.

I really like how the colors are now, they are much more minty and the transition is much smoother. I was worried about being able to hit it off on infantry models but I think I got it to work. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the loin cloth pieces but I will decide on that after I get the gun (mostly white) to get a better feel for what color will balance it out. These models are just amazing though; GW really nailed these guys. The kit has lots of extras and there is enough variety to make them interestingly unique but not too much to break away from the fluff of Wraithguard. My only complaints are the arms are a bit fiddly since it's a flat surface to a flat surface (shoulder to arm) to a flat surface (arm to hand) with no holes or slots to better guide them into place and I really dislike the two models with their legs super close together. I'm sure I will appreciate the smaller stance when placing them on the Scibor "Ancient Ruins" base but for right now they look like a gust of wind could catch them just right and knock em down. My favorite thing about them is that they look more like scaled up Wraith Lords and have the same air of coolness to them. When I get these finished I'll post up my thoughts on them game wise. So far I'm enjoying the progress on the army and I wish I could get it done faster to not only keep updating but also to just see my work come together on the table again. I also get really giddy to just work on the next thing, I'm torn between Warp Spiders and Swooping Hawks for the next unit to be painted. I have also been learning more from this army the more I work on it. My ability to hand paint white is really going up, my desire to pay attention to the little details is increasing, and my patience is getting better.

Right now I'm working on a Farseer on Jetbike conversion, a Warlock on Jetbike, and the other 6 Windrider/ Guardian Jetbike models.
