2.) It would be super boring. Hanging out at the game store is fun because you get to interact with people. Watching people small talk without being able to contribute... well, it's tough to see how that would be particularly entertaining (unless the two people were comedians, which I'm guessing they're not).

3.) I've got better stuff to do with my time. It's barely worth sitting through a three hour movie if it means I get to keep in touch with the pop culture zetgeist. Otherwise, I don't know how much it's worth more or less wasting that much time.

Not to say it's impossible for someone to possibly pull it off, but the end result for most people would be about as exciting as listening to someone describe a dream they had last night, or watching someone else's home videos of their family events, while paying for the bandwith required to be dull to people over long distances.

Dan from miniwargaming has IMO by far the best of this type of battle reports. The ones with Joe (eldar dude) are ok too. NOVA Open, or the old Adepticon coverage. The games of the top 1 or 2 tables are streamed and available to sit down and watch later.
