I recently acquired several ig leman Russ's and a few artillery pieces at a very good price. Up till now my entire csm army has been hand brushed with gw paint (only thing available outside ac Moore acrylic paint in my area).
Id love to give these military machines a good camouflage paintjob and know an airbus would do wonders....yet i know little about airbrushes and if you ask at a hobby store the only decent one for them is th 500$ setup..damned commission sellers
Im not totally clueless. I know the basics having used one when i was younger to paint cars (real cars...not models) but those are worlds apart from ones used on miniatures.
If someone could point out a decent priced brand or guide id appreciate it.
also in at a lack of knowledge when it comes to paint and airbrushes...if anyone can point out some guides on YouTube for miniatures id appreciate it. All the ones i find are for large scale painting like buildings and cars...not small scale like troops and tanks.

If you snoop around ebay a little (search for airbrush compressor set) you will find a lot of reasonably priced sets (no name airbrush and compressor) that are good to begin with. Later on you can buy a branded airbrush that will certainly help you achieve better results.
