So far I picked up 2 Battle Force Boxes, 2 Annihilation Barge Kits, and I am thinking about picking up a Night Scythe (Going to start putting them together soon). It's going to take me a while to get all of the Mech together for the AV and I have these from the Battle Force Boxes how do you guys think this would fare?

Semi-competitive setting, possible matchups tau, eldar, dark eldar (venom / raider spam), nids, orks, blood angels.

Necron Overlord (Warscythe, Mind Shackle Scarabs, Sempiternal Weave, Resurrection Orb) – 160 {Attached to the Unit of 20 Necron Warriors}

Royal Court (2 Harbingers of Destruction, Solar Pulse, 1 Harbinger of Despair, Veil of Darkness) – 150 {Harbingers of Destruction are Attached to the Necron Warrior in Ghost Arks, The Harbinger of Despair with Veil of Darkness is Attached to the unit of Immortals}

10 Immortals (Tesla Carbines, Night Scythe) – 270
20 Necron Warriors – 260
5 Necron Warriors (Ghost Ark) – 180
5 Necron Warriors (Ghost Ark) – 180

8 Canoptek Scarabs – 120

Annihilation Barge (Tesla Cannon) – 90
Annihilation Barge (Tesla Cannon) – 90

= 1500

The Overlord with a Res Orbs Sits with the unit of 20 Warriors flanked by the Ghost Arks / Annihilation Barges, Nightscythe goes into reserve with the Immortals and Veiltek (I have thought about putting together 10 deathmarks instead of Immortals to run with the Veiltek, but I am low on scoring units as it is) The scarabs are mostly there because I have them from the battle force, I think they would be a pretty decent tarpit / bullet magnet from the rest of the army - pulse for night fighting.

That is a lot of point to have tied up in reserves. Plus having a veil and a NS on the same unit doesn't seem the to flow very well.

I would start them on the board and keep them at max range for as long as you can.. veil away to the other side for Objectives or line breaker or to just keep them out of trouble. But you want that tesla in use for as many turns as you can.

You can use the empty NS to fly around and shoot things up and give other players headaches... ( well maybe not the tau because they will likely just shoot it down) but if it does live.. you can have one of your 5 mans hop out of an ark.. pick them up and zoom them over for objectives or LB.

I normally take Zandy in my lists, and use his buffs to give the scarabs Furious Charge. The extra point of strength really helps against...everything really.

In an AV13 list you have plenty of cover from your vehicles so should work well.

Wraiths work much better with a DLord, who can't take a court. Check out wraith wing lists and see if they appeal. If they do, then go wraiths first.
