The technique I've settled on produces a really bright yellow, which I like but wondering how many of you prefer a dull imperial fist and how many a bright one?

Also I'm going with the black trim, but should they still have a red aquila? For the aquila, I don't think I've seen the exact colour covered anywhere but I know it's not company-specific - so fluff-wise I want to say red. I also think black trim/red chest would look odd, what I thought I might do is - just black on standard troops but red detail on characters/commanders etc (i.e lysanders cape in red, red on a squad leaders bolter etc)

These IFs are my "budget" projects, seeing as my SWs swallow up a lot of money, most of these IFs are bargains I've gotten off eBay, spares from mates etc - only intend to buy a few bits at full retail price.
