Re:Dark Eldar 2000 points list

What is the configuration of the court? You need a total of 9 models on the Dais with Vect. Regardless, why the court? They aren't terrible unit individually, with the exception of Lhamean. The problem is that they are a mixed bag of shooting and assault, thanks to that stupid design of having to take 1 model each. As DE, you should always look to build an unit that is focused on one task, because you want to be able to destroy whatever you are striking, as a destroyed unit poses no threat, but a damaged unit is still a threat due to how fragile DE is.

Dais is also questionable, why do you want that? Is it for fluff reason? It's still an overcosted transport for what it brings, sure it got jink save and a good AV(for DE) and 3 DLs, but it has no aerial assault or other USR, so the 3 DLs fire under the fast skimmer rules... But most importantly, that 9 models restriction is terrible, it limits what kinda unit you can throw with your Vect.

Your elites are also puzzling, I assume you're meaning to footslog them? Grotesques may be tough, but 3 of them at minimal size isn't gonna last very long, they are also a risk to themselves without an HQ to lead(read its USR). Wracks are essentially marines with a worse save. And incubi's 3+ isn't all that good when you consider that the unit is T3 and quite a high priority unit, due to them being killy in combat.

Your troops seem to be underdressed, you could build them into 2 gunboats(add splinter racks), as they're now, they aren't very good... TGL is a waste of points, no one needs to assault those raiders to take them down, standard S4 guns can easily do the job, even if they do attempt to assault, they aren't gonna really struggle with the test even with the debuff, the debuff is also very useless as you're never gonna have a raider at 6" range and not see it immediately destroyed. You're better off spending those points elsewhere. If you want something defensive on your raiders, NS and/or FF are the things you want, NS is great as you already have jink, while FF protects you from anything that can ignore jink.

Your FA could also use some work. Beast pack is a tad fragile as it currently is, without Baron to lead them, you lose out on many many benefits that the Baron brings to them. That is not to say a beast pack cannot be run without a Baron, but I don't think your current build is the right build for a Baronless beast pack. I personally, if running beast pack Baron-less, like to run them as 3 beastmaster and 3 clawed fiends, that way the majority toughness becomes T5, and I'd also run enough units to distract enemy's guns from shooting at them as they run up the side, in covers, etc. 10 scourges is way too expensive for a fragile unit, it also paints them as a "high" priority target, and it eliminates any chance of you playing them as deepstrike unit(big footprint), they're also suicide unit if you need them in that melta range... I'd trim them down to 5 with 2 lances, or even HWB. 3 reavers are gonna just be harassment, they aren't gonna be able to do a whole lot, and it doesn't take long to wipe them off the board, might be better to take them out so you can field 2 units of 5 scourges if scourges are what you want.

Razorwing jet should take the FF, as it is the one thing that we have over most flyers currently, not having to go into dodge mode to get a save is terribly useful especially since the jet has barely any armour. Talos doesn't need ichor injector, if you need to ID, just go for smash, without a chainflail however, he isn't gonna be very reliable in CC. Cronos should have the vortex upgrade, you want it to be able to distribute PT while it and your units are still alive, that said, not all that many unit needs an early PT anyway...

Overall, I'm getting the feeling that you're applying other armies' philosophy in your DE list building, you lack reliable AT, you don't play to the strength of DE, etc. As DE, you should always look to have everything on transport when possible, there are few builds that require no transport, but most need that transport, beside, it's not really a fast army if you don't give them those fast skimmer open top transports, you'd just be playing a very fragile army in the style of a marine army or something. For AT, you want more, and when possible, you don't want to use expensive units like grotesques or incubi or beast pack to deal with mechs, as they're better off getting into combat ASAP to avoid getting shot at, you want ravagers, blasterborns, HWG wyches, and other dedicated AT units to do the AT.

Re:Dark Eldar 2000 points list

I'm pretty sure you can't put the grot unit in the same boat as the archon and his court, also you wouldn't have enough room anyways because the grots would be taking up six spots by themselves. Not really sure why you gave the haemie a soul-trap, as he isn't exactly going to be killing any IC, it would be best to give him a liquifier gun instead.

The wracks aren't going to be contributing much the way their loaded out right now, except at getting killed, were you planning on camping them on the back objective, cause if that were the case I would drop one of the squads and get an ADL or something for the other to sit behind and maybe put an Icarus on the ADL so they have something to do the hole game.

The kabal squads are fine, except I would replace the ff with ns on the raiders.

Clawed fiends are pretty meh when you compare them to the other two choices, so I would drop it and get two more razorwing flocks and max the khymera squad out.

Scourges are really meh imo, you spend a premium for them to basicly do what haywire wyches do for a lot cheaper. If you still want to use them that's fine, but reavers are much better at delivering heat lances so if it were me I would drop the scourges and get two six man squads of them instead.

The razorwing is good, although I would replace the necrotoxins with shatterfield missiles, otherwise the stock monoscythes are fine.

I've never really had any success with the cronos, so if you still want to use the engines I would get another talos instead, otherwise I would replace them with ravagers with ns.

Re:Dark Eldar 2000 points list

flaming tadpole got everything covered.

I'd just like to make a small correction in that scourges, when factored in cost effectiveness and effective deliver method, won't be a match for HWG wyches at all. At 10 models, you can't deepstrike them as their footprint is too big, and marching them slowly up the board is suicide as 4+ is really useless as a save(see the thread in general forums?), compared with HWG wyches on their usual venom, not only do you get long range poisoned dakka, you can also cover 30" in a turn when you need, as well as AV10 HP2 5+/4+ being better than T3 W10(10 models) 4+/6++ that could also break if you failed a morale test on that ld...8?

If you want the court, I won't comment on them further, but like flaming tadpole has said, you can't bring the grots with them as a transport can only take 1 unit at a time(unless combat squads or something), IC can only join 1 unit at a time, as well as what he said about grots taking up space....

AFAIK the court doesn't need to be the retinue unit of your HQ, unless this is for fluff reason or personal preference, you could buy a raider with the grotesques for Vect and haemy to go with, and another raider for the court to cruise around with, doing whatever you plan to do with them.

EDIT: Oh and you need way more AT than what you're bringing, at 2000.
