				<title>Optional Wargear - Insulated Gauntlets</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Available to any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> unit that has the option to upgrade to a plasma weapon. <br /> Being that Plasma Weapons are so risky to use, a savvy Adeptus Tech designed gauntlets that resist heat. <br /> The weapon gets hot as normal, but the model using it may choose to just drop the weapon, wait a few seconds, and pick it up again, instead of dying.<br /> Since using insulated gauntlets is considered heresy, any friendly model in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> of the model using insulated gauntlets must make a free out of turn shooting attack against that unit. <br /> The upgrade is free. <br /> <br /> <br /> {update} <br /> <br /> Insulated Gauntlets, AKA Oven Mitts<br /> Codex Space Marines<br /> Free Upgrade for any infantry model equipped with a weapon that Gets Hot.<br /> A model with this upgrade may ignore the wound associated with a "Gets Hot" result.<br /> Because wearing oven mitts is Heretical, all friendly units that have a clear <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> of the offending model's unit, starting with the closest friendly unit, must make an immediate, out of turn shooting attack at that unit, using a legal shooting profile of the controlling player's choice. If the offending model is not removed as a casualty, the next closest unit with clear <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> then follows suit. These shooting attacks continue until either there are no more friendly units within range that have a clear <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span>, or the offending model is removed as a casualty.<br /> Wounds are allocated normally, but precision shots must be directed at the offending model; and optional rules such as 'look out sir' if applicable, may be utilized to prevent those wounds.<br /> If the offending model remains in play after all free shooting attacks have been resolved, play continues as normal.<br /> <br /> Allied detachments are not required to fire at the offending model, unless they are from Codex: Black Templars, the other chapters don't really care, though Dark Angels are considered to be eying the model suspiciously from this point forward. <br /> <br /> {update again}<br /> Oven Mitts<br /> Optional upgrade for units from any codex utilizing Space Marines other than Chaos Space Marines.<br /> Available as a free upgrade to any non <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> model that is equipped with a weapon with the Gets Hot special rule.<br /> <br /> A model with this upgrade may ignore gets hot rule. Do you think biker's should be able to wear them?<br /> Regarding the 'step and not whole rule', I think it should be clear that the oven mitts don't prevent the weapon from getting hot. 				<description><![CDATA[ I don't play space marines. This rule definitely creates way more wounds than it prevents, but it's optional. You don't have to wear oven mitts if you don't want to; but know that if you do, your entire unit has got a target painted on it's collective back.   I just want to model a bunch of space marines wearing pink oven mitts. ]]></description>
