Grey Knights army WIP

New to wargaming in general, closest thing I've even played was Talisman when I was a child. Love the GK fluff despite being silly and knew that this was going to be my first collection.
I loved their warcry, "I am the hammer, I am the right hand of the Emperor, the instrument of His will, the gauntlet about His fist, the tip of His spear, the edge of His sword!"
And decided that my GK's would all have golden right arms to signify that warcry in a visual sense.
I also felt that different knights would kind of create their own personal divisions based on weapons and would wear cloaks to represent their "team" so to speak. I used to fence foil and at my salle we would wear something to show which group we belonged to (just kind of developed in the culture there (not for tournaments, but just for training) - sabre people would tie a bandana somewhere, usually around their neck or around their trailing arm bicep/ back wrist, us foilers had a little shield shaped shoulder patch with an embroidered eagle head, and the epee'ists were just tall and lanky and I guess that was their thing.
So in my GK army, Sword wielders get a bluish cloak, hammer wielders get a deep red/burgundy cloak and I haven't decided on halberdiers yet.

So I picked up Draigo and Coteaz:

After painting those I was pretty happy with how they turned out, but then I found dakka and felt ashamed. And then I found coolminiornot and immediately /wrists. Anyway, I had lots of learning to do and have begun my mini painting journey; so feel free to give me pointers I would very much like to improve.

So I went through various youtube tutorials out there, thinned my paints and went at it again!

Paint went on smoother here, picked up a couple extra brushes with smaller tips. Not as muddy as my HQ guys (I'll probably strip them at some points and redo them).
