And today I bought a Stegadon, Slann, Skink standardbearer, Skink priest on cold one, two salamanders with handlers, lots of skinks and lots of sauruses for 23 USD. They are all realy friggin old models, Rather ugly (The slann is the one carried by 4 temple guard models) but since they where so cheep, I thought they would be a cheep way to atleast get started with a lizardmen army. A Slann will almost certainly still be a staple, as will Skinks and Saurus. A properly magnetized Stegadon would also most likely still be a useful thing to have.

The basics rarely change from army book to army book. Its the other stuff that is more iffy, or an army thats been built to an extreme(such as an all Skink army) that can suffer when a new book is released.
