[WIP] Adventuring party

Started a group of adventures ( Darksword miniatures which I like ) the Halfling and Dwarf that was rattling around in the bottom of the figure box. ( both where unbased and unloved ), they were really coated with paint and total crap. I striped the two of them and turned the halfling's sword, put a flame on the haft of what was left of the dagger. and sprayed and ready to go.

I'm trying some more thinner coats of colour this time and really liking the look that its giving. The dwarf and halfling I was only going to do for I need them as additional possible members. I really didn't like the figures, I wouldn't have bought them, but need the figures to build up the amount of pc figures.

After doing the base shadows I'm surprised that I'm more enamoured with the dwarf and halfling than before, maybe because I can see some of the detail now and not just gloops of paint that was covering them.

vent wrote:
Looking good. My only suggestion would be thinning your paint a little more and doing a few thinner layers. Especially the metals.

definately some sage advice that I'm trying to listen too.

So that's the progress from last night.

Did couple of hours this morning.
