Also, is it in any way linked to the Socharis Dynasty? I found an obscure (really obscure) indication that the eye depicted on the Emperors armour is the sign of the 'Socharis Dynasty'. I don't think GW put much thought into egyptian mythology. Just copy pasted the name Horus, gave the egyptian look and feel to the Thousand sons led by Magnus. So Horus doesn't avenge his father. He even got a Legion of Wolves....
