				<description><![CDATA[ I don't know if this is a valid idea or not, but can the God Emperor be corrupted by Chaos? Or is he beyond their control.<br /> <br /> And if so, what would such an entity be like?<br /> <br /> Also, what is the greatest being the ruinous-powers have been successful at converting, aside from the Primarchs.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ We can take this quote by every way. Try to make those words mean whatever we want them to mean.<br /> Thing is, the Chaos gods are getting in the mind of the emperor. And it's not something he really likes/wants.<br /> The seeds of doubt and fear, I call it corruption.<br /> But in the end, we know as a fact that the emperor is not outside of the god's reach, and he's nowhere safe from them. They already are in his mind and have an influence on him. Is that influence corruptive ? Matter of perspective I guess.]]></description>

If the God Emperor wants it, corruption is a possibility...   In my opinion though, the God Emperor is dead for all intents and purposes, and because of that can't be corrupted. In life he couldn't be corrupted because he was unwilling to share any power, not because of theological differences or holiness. He was a xenophobic tyrant who literally exterminated entire species and obliterated worlds, just because he liked to conquer things. <br /> ]]></description>

If the Emperor is still alive, I think he knows the threat  of Chaos well enough to steel his mind against their corrupting influence.  However, hes not quite himself at the moment, and from that old Realm of Chaos quote, it sounds more like the Gods are focusing on weakening the Emperor so he dies faster, and less on tempting him to pledge himself to them.]]></description>

Stray from the Matt Ward rethoric a bit and read the actual background.<br /> Your other point is fallacious at best. By the time of Nikaea, Magnus already bathed himself in the Warp. He wasn't yet a daemon prince of Tzeentch, right ? Does that prove he was anathemaimmunetoChaos ? Quite the contrary, in fact.<br /> <br /> <blockquote class="uncited"><div>Hmm, nah. His soul, in the Warp is being attacked by the Chaos gods who are having fun with him. And this may drive him insane if he's not fortunate enough to die from his wounds beforehand. That may be "minor" to you, but I doubt the emperor finds it minor.<br /> That's what the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(566);'>RoC</span> quote meant. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I do remember hearing about a plotline that involved some faction (I think of the inquisition, but I can't quite remember) that believed if you killed the emperor for good that he would either become a warp entity in full that was powerful enough to challenge the chaos gods/ be reborn as the "star child" who would lead the Imperium to a new golden age. obvioyusly not a popular viewpoint in the imperium, however.]]></description>
