				<title>1500 points of Mechdar tournament fun</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hey all, here's a list I've been toying with for use at a tournament in a few weeks. I don't think it's massively different to a lot of what people are looking at at the moment but it's fun to play with and seems to stand up quite well against most things. It's a bit weak against AV14 and flyers so any tips on that would be appreciated.<br /> <br /> A few points: I'd obviously like more bikes but love the new wave serpents and want to take as many as possible so am basically using the bikes as meat shields for my farseer while he's casting powers at the start of the game. Likewise I'd like more guardians instead of avengers but the extra serpent is just too appealing. Apart from that I know crimson hunters aren't all that competitive but the model is awesome and I like to at least have one unit that's competent at taking out flyers (especially if I'm facing Heldrake spam). Also my walkers are left over from the previous edition so all have two scatter lasers glued on. I know a lot of people are liking different weapons configurations but I still have a lot of faith in my 24 S6 shots, especially when I don't have to cut up my models or spend lots of money on new ones!<br /> <br /> The list basically works by target saturation and mobility - I have a wraithknight but think it might be a bit too much of a points sink to justify taking it at 1500. 				<description><![CDATA[ Serpents are missing vital gear (Holofields always chin cannons as a secondary option). Farseer with just 3 bikes for comfort will die early and give up STW every game.<br /> <br /> Double <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(219);'>SL</span> on the War Walkers isn't a great option anymore. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(219);'>SL</span>+Shuri gets more So hits per turn for less points and over half those hits get rending against infantry. Swap those for either <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(219);'>SL</span>+Starcannon or double <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(327);'>BL</span> war walkers. Due to the lack of ability to deal with high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> the later would be my advice though if your meta has no high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> the former would be the way to go.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>
