				<description><![CDATA[ I'm designing a list that relies a lot on the old tactics of Tau but still being able to produce an uncountable amount of shots. I took out a lot of fire warriors instead for good old crisis battle suits. 				<description><![CDATA[ You should split up your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> squads. 12 is a big blob to have and if you lose 3 models your squad might run for the hills.<br /> <br /> Having 3 crisis suits in a group might be too many to have in terms of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(278);'>JSJ</span>. One of them might not make it to safety. In general, you want to try to have 2 at most, unless you have a suicide squad going for armor. Whats the reasoning behind the Shas'vre upgrades in your two suit squads?<br /> <br /> For your body guards, may i suggest making your commander the suit with all the dakka and the body guard the one with iridium and stims. Since the bodyguards have the sworn protector SR, they auto pass <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> rolls. Unless of course you were paying the extra points for more suits on the field.<br /> <br /> You should also label your gun drones down in the Fast Attack area for ease of reading. <br /> <br /> The point defense array is nice, but 10 points is a lot to put down for something you don't want to happen to you anyway. Besides, is making two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> P.Carbines (firing on 6s) that are only usable in the worst case scenario worth ten points? I'm not so sure.<br /> <br /> Hmm, we're going to need to know what you plan to do with this list too. <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I don't like splitting up fire warrior squads because they don't dish out as many shots at half range. They also are my main mode of capping objectives.<br /> <br /> I have never heard of 2 manned crisis suit squads. Ever. If anything I would give them more drones for more wounds to allocate.<br /> <br /> Interesting but I don't like using my Commander as a support suit. It works but I feel like it is wasting some of the Commander's potential with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 5. The only thing I'm concerned about is having my crisis suits deep strike and scatter off the map and die, which could happen.<br /> <br /> I was lazy with the gun drones.<br /> <br /> I think the point defense things are good for 10 points, why wouldn't you take one and a d pod for your devilfishes. <br /> <br /> I'm sick of gunline Tau so I'm going for mobile mech Tau.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<title>Tau 2000 points</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Good list. I'm not sure what armies you play against.<br /> a few questions/comments.<br /> -I've never liked the cyclic blaster, have you good luck with that?  I usually go for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>plas</span>, melta, or missle pod combos.<br /> -Riptide with early override has never really worked out for me.  I hate giving up next turn of shooting with marker light assistance for a crap-shot at killing some Deep striking terms.<br /> -2 twelve man units of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> is putting your eggs in one basket. two 6 man units can still put out the same number of shots at rapid fire as one 12 man unit. With supporting fire why not split them up?<br /> -I like that you don't like only playing gunlines, but every time I stray from gunline I pay the price.  Have you had good luck with it?<br /> -I like a unit of kroot with a hound to flank the enemy back field to harass heavy gun units and to take objectives/linebreaker.<br /> ]]></description>

Also, if you are using <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> for capping purposes, you should have more than two squads. Finally, you are more than likely going to lose at least three models in any given round. You do not want to invite <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>LD</span> rolls on leadership of seven if you can help it. You're literally begging for that twelve man squad to run off the table. <br /> <br /> Two man crisis squads are pretty much the norm. The reason for that is to insure <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(278);'>JSJ</span> space. I'd only roll with a three man squad if i wanted a lot of dakka on a target i needed dead. Like a suicide <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(153);'>FB</span> squad for tank killing purposes. I don't know where you've been playing that three man squads was the norm, but it's wrong. <br /> <br /> Don't worry about crisis suits scattering off the map and dying. That doesn't usually happen. <br /> <br /> There's nothing wrong with a Support'O and it can be very useful. It just depends on what your army's goals are. A commander that can jump from squad to squad with lots of shooting perks is invaluable. Never a waste. <br /> <br /> <br /> <u><i><b>I was lazy with the gun drones.</b></i></u><br /> <br /> It is your job to supply us with a clean and readable list, and our job to help you. That's the deal. Don't come in here with a slacker attitude expecting us to pick up the tab for your laziness. It's rude and tacky as gak. <br /> <br /> The point i was making with the point defense array was that you are effectively spending 20 points on something that might happen, that won't be very effective, and you might not even be able to use (Dfish blowing up). I assure you, you can find 20 points on something more effective. ]]></description>
