First post but been lurking for a while. Congrats on being at the much more civilised and helpful end of the 40k forums!

Putting together a fluff-based but hopefully not hopeless in game Lost and the Damned army based on a Slaaneshi cult revolt. Warlord will be Redemptor Kyrinov on a chaotic mechanopulpit (converted from sentinel). I really want to involve a psyker battle squad (the original cultists) and some daemonic allies. Noticed the combo of weaken resolve and psychic scream and thought I might run with that. Fluff wise I want this army to be the hordes of screaming loons that Space Marines are forever cutting through in Black Library books - its good to be the underdog!

New to Guard so any help/advice would be appreciated muchly.

Imperial Guard:
- Company Command Squad (3x plasma guns, Regimental Standard) - 110
- Psyker Battle Squad (with 5 extra psykers) - 110
- Aegis Line (with Quad Gun) - 100
- Platoon Command Squad (2 x flamer) 40
- Infantry Squad (1 x flamer each) x 3 - 165
- Heavy Weapon Squad (3 x Lascannons) - 105
- Veteran Squad (3 x flamers) - 85
- Vendetta x 2 - 260

Slaaneshi Daemons:
- Daemon Prince (Slaaneshi, flight, armour, gift [i.e. lash], psyker [Telepathy]) - 260
- Daemonettes (15 total) - 135
- Seekers of Slaanesh (10 total, Icon of Chaos) - 130

Total 1500.

Plan would be for IG to castle behind Aegis whilst Vendettas and Daemons attack a flank from reserve. The Prince would probably deploy behind something and fly around to wherever needed, hopefully getting the WR/PS combo off.

Thoughts? Tell me what terrible mistakes I've made? Started collecting a few minis (Escher Slaaneshi cultists ftw) but everything still up for grabs.

will post them up when completed. The other option would be to go CSM/Daemon (with my renegade Cardinal as a Dark Apostle) but I fancied leaving out power armour as does seem to be rather prevalent.
