As you all know, the Space Marine codex is about a month away. This makes me happy. It also halted my plans to paint a Carnosaur and made me buy a start-up Crimson Fist force. (With Angels Encarmine DC as allies. I'll justify it in fluff one day )

The point of this blog is going to be to track everything I do in my hobby from now on, which is ambitious to say the least for me. I feel my painting has come on a lot over the last year, but I still have a looong way to go before it's where I want it to be. That's why I want to blog, so that I can have my progress on record. At the end of the day, you are my peers, your opinions matter to me. You can be honest and open with me, as I always will be with you, because I won't react badly to honest critique.

There are some truly incredible blogs on here and I hope to learn a lot from them. Perhaps in time, somebody can become motivated to get their hobby on from viewing mine as I have done from what's already out there.

So - some goals

1. Get my photographs up to a better standard. I've started experimenting with a lightbox I bought, but I know I need at least one extra lightsource and a tripod.
2. Paint the Crimson Fists I have before the new SM book comes out (also save up some coin for that time!)
3. Get my painting level 'graded' by getting something rated on Dakka and CMON. Just to have a baseline to work up from.
4. Improve - ongoing.

And finally, my desk. This is where I basically live while at home and it's where I get gak done.
