				<description><![CDATA[ There's a 1500pt tournament coming up at my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(38);'>FLGS</span>, and I'm having trouble deciding on a list to use. Right now, I'm thinking:<br /> <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>:       <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span>  50points<br /> <br /> Troops:  <br />    Platoon 1      295pts<br />           <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span> 4 flamers  (Posting up in Vendetta...)  <br /> 10 guardsmen (autocannon)<br /> 10 guardsmen (autocannon )<br /> 10 guardsmen (autocannon )<br /> 10 guardsmen  (plasmagun)<br /> <br /> <br /> Platoon 2 195 pts<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span><br /> 10 guardsmen (flamer)<br /> 10 guardsmen(flamer)<br /> 10 guardsmen (flamer)<br /> <br /> Elites: <br /> Psyker Battle Squad   60pts<br /> <br /> Guardsman Marbo 65pts<br /> <br /> <br /> Heavy Support:<br /> <br /> -Leman Russ Demolisher   165pts<br /> <br /> -Manticore                             160pts<br /> <br /> -Ordnance Battery               200pts<br /> Basilisk<br /> Griffon<br /> <br /> <br /> Fast Attack:<br /> <br /> -Vendetta 130pts<br /> <br /> <br /> -Hellhound 130pts<br /> <br /> <br /> Fortifications:<br /> Aegis Defense Line     50pts<br /> <br /> <br /> Strategy: The Guard squads with autocannons sit on homebase objectives, receiving orders from <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span>, while protected by aegis defense line, while the guardsmen with flamers and plasmaguns move up behind the demolisher and the hellhound, while recieving orders from <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span> 2. The psyker battle squad weakens resolve of enemies, setting them up to be pinned down by the ordnance barrages from the Manticore, Basilisk and Griffon. Vendetta comes in to drop payload of flamers to clear an objective. Marbo contests/clears an enemy objective, or hides and scores linebreaker.<br /> <br /> So, what do you think? Comments and advice welcome! I'm especially looking for weaknesses this list has, and how to fix them... Thanks!<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ 1. 35 guardsman will never be able to hide behind just 2 tanks, especially if they go in anti-blast formation.<br /> 2. If you want footslogging guard -- take <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> as allies and put Azrael into 50-men combined squad for fearless and 4++ or your people will be a dead meat.<br /> 3. Hellhound is rearly worth it points, it's better to take another Vendetta.<br /> 4. If you use psykers -- take full 9 of them, their power depends of their numbers.<br /> 5. Consider <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> sponsons for Vendettas -- they are cheap but can be very handy.<br /> 6. For plasma-guns it is better to use vets, they are BS4 and waste 1/3-rd less shots then regular guardsmen.<br /> 7. For the tanks and other Heavy Support the rule of thumb in "take it in pairs". It is not mandatory but usually useful <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0">.]]></description>
