At the moment I am resorting to slicing off pieces of a long cylindrical bit of plastic.
This is okay for small studs or rivets but are lacking that distinctly rounded appearance.

At this point I guess I'm hoping there is something out there that comes in various sizes and individual pieces that I do not have to cut myself.

Long story short: roll a 'snake' of Green Stuff. Cut thin 'coins' off of it. Use as studs. Use a shaping tool (or wet toothpick) to bevel the edges if you fancy.
