But with the release of 6th they got rid of all the articles on their page and no longer have the how to paint them.

Since then i havent had to paint a russ in a while and just picked up my 10th one(to finish my tank company) and am motivated to paint the rest of the tanks of with this final one.

Now since its been a while since i painted a russes i cant exactly remember all the colors to use and which ones i mix for different effects.

So i know the general colors and steps. Base black, 1st coat of dark angels green(old name i believe) dry brush that dark angels green. Then i believe they used a black and a brown watered down to paint around the rivets, or could i use a wash for that(one part im confuse on). Next would be dry brushing a light highlight of Elysian green for the light edges. Ones the green is done i do the tan stipes. I do about 2 layers of karak stone and that all i got from that. I know from there a brownish or darker color was used to paint around the rivets and seems in the tan areas and then it was dry brushed with a mix of karak stone an some lighter color( cant remember that part as well)

From then on i got everything else down except for lenses for search lights. Anyone got any tips on these?

I also am working on weathering if anyone had any helpful tips on different stuff to try.

I also am looking at trying to add extra detail to make my tanks stand out a little more. One such detail i noticed in an old gw painting guide was that theres a way to make like a flag or a pennent out of card soaked in PVA glue and then stuck on the antenna, what exactly is the card and how do i go about this?

For the pennant, just use normal white paper.
