However, I do not clearly know the price for these (as I haven't gotten the book just yet, but I'm getting it in a few days), so I'm just going with an assumption that the GUO's price is about 300 points (with upgrades considered), and the Plaguebearers are about 150 for 10. If I'm completely wrong about these prices, please tell me so.

Alright, now that we got that out of the way, I'll just go ahead and ask you fellas. It's been a very long while since I've played Chaos Space Marines, and I'm not exactly sure how "competitive" this list is. And I simply chose to say 1500 pts, since that's the common size of game around here.

Do note that I do not intend to use a Helldrake. I know how much those will hurt the enemy (and how great looking the model is. ), but I simply want to try and not to frustrate my opponent by bringing one in. Sure, I might think about trying one out (wit one o' dem shiny new Dakkajets as proxy. 'Tis close 'nuff, roight?), but for now, I'd prefer to exclude it.

Anyway, here's the list:

HQ:

Chaos Lord of Nurgle: Lightning claw, Plasma pistol, Blight grenades (more to emulate the flies around him. I'm actually not sure if this is needed, since he's going into a Plague Marine squad anyway), Sigil of Corruption. 140 pts

Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle: Mastery level 3, Blight grenades (same as the lord), Sigil of Corruption. 155 pts

Great Unclean One: Not sure with gear here. 300 pts

Troops:

7 Plague Marines: combi-Plasma on the Champion, 2 Plasma guns and Icon of Despair with Rhino (with Extra armor and an additional combi-bolter) as their dedicated transport. 268 pts

7 Plague Marines: combi-Melta on the Champion, 2 Melta guns and Icon of Despair with Rhino (with Extra armor and an additional combi-bolter) as their dedicated transport. 258 pts

10 Plaguebearers: Not sure if they would need upgrades, if I even knew them. 150 pts

Heavy Support:

3 Obliterators of Nurgle: 228 pts


Did I screw up badly with the points of the daemons? Also, is it 10 man, or 15 man you're talking about with full upgrades? 10 man squads 9pts each icons are 10pts instruments are 10pts champ is 5pts Lesser Rewards are 10pts Greater Rewards are 20pts Exalted Rewards are 30pts. The GUO has ml3 @25pts per lvl3 Great for 20 and an ER for 30
