I was wondering if it'd be viable to field only those units as my troop choices, with a MoN HQ while still being competitive. He didn't take them as troops. He already has 2 groups of 10 cultists with MoN for 70 points a piece (though I feel like those MoN points would be better spent giving the DP wings). Those are his troop choices.

I'd imagine the Plague Marines are an Elite choice.

Though, he cannot take a Demon Prince with MoN. You can only take "Daemon of ______" on a DP. Dump the rest into as many cultists as you can to run your lord with, no upgrades at all. Drop the Sigil on the lord if necessary to buy more cultists.

At 500 points there are several armies you will have lots of trouble with though, among them anything that is fast and shooty (eldar, dark eldar) or long range shooty (guard, tau). 500 points of Nurgle marines are fun, that's what I played during my store's Escalation League, but there are certain matchups that you will be extremely outgunned from the start.]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/546594/5960864.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/546594/5960864.page GMT 500 point Plague marines?
