Im sure not much has changed but here are the models I have to work with.

Finecast warboss with squig
Snikrot
8 or 9 nobs
Approx 15 or 16 lootas
7 or 8 kommandos of various setups
Approx 60 boyz about 30 slugga 30 shoota and few nobs with klaws
2 battlewagons
2 deff dreads
3 kans
12 gretchin
2 lobbas with crew
And a few various older mek models and odds and ends

I dont mind spending a little bit if need be but I would like to use mostly what I have and maybe just bulk up a few units by buying some stuff used. I know for sure that I wanna get at least 2 dakkajets becuz I love the models. I would appreciate any help you all could give me to help mehit the ground running in 6th edition. Im thinking this tourney im going to play in at the LGS is either 1500 or 1850 so if someone could help me out with a list I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers

in 6th ed orks bread and butter is a few choices for lists.
Greentide (my fav) 120-180 boyz with 2 ig meks kffs lootas and dakkajets ect
Speed freaks(not as strong as it used to be but still good) 4-6trukks filled with boyz with alot of firepower to help the trukks stay alive with useing KFF meks
Battlewagons(2ed fav) 3-6 battlewagons going up with alot of av14 with a 5+ cover save from meks
Or nob bikers a warboss on a bike with alot of nobs on bikes with a power klaw and alot of big choppas going up with 4+ cover saves and 5+ feel no pain with 5+ invuls

all lists require lots of lootas around 10-30 never run them in squads more than 10 so you can GTG in runes for 2+ save
they are also your antiair. if they get shot at GTG and you will be snapfireing at planes anyway
dakkajets are great anti-men so 1-3 are good.
when makeing a list i would start with how many lootas you feel you want and how many dakkajets than add the form of running boyz you would like to try.

Orks are pretty poor competitively. Likewise very little in your list of models is any good in a tournament setting either.

i feel this could be strong but the nob bikers wont have much of an impact cus there is so few. if you lost the bikers you could get x10 more lootas 1 more dakkajet and still have 100pts left over. the biker boss is to costly along with the nobs.

I do rather well with this list, there is some armies like Deamons that have kicked my Green butt back to the spacehulk BUT I do win more often than not, I play alot of IG, some CSM (kids has a very Mech based Iron warriors army, its a real Slug fest. Gotten in with Kans to rage on opponents tanks, had a Black Templar Army running couple LandRaiders and stomped one squad of kans at one of them shooting up marines the whole way then the last Kan got in an one hitted the LR with explosion, it was awesome. Also does well vs nids and other orks. As it sits however i don't have any air-power or Anti-air power, big shootas at the rear armor of a heldrake that is roasting boys to Kans kinda sucks for me, but thats the nature of the beast,

Having a Dread Mob army is about loving Dreads, (you should check out my pic, my whole mob, Tork'd Nutz of the Bad Moons clan 'DA IRON LUNKERS" is posted) the other post was from my work account, need an official work sounding name to be able to visit site while on the company dollar,

Its not about winning, its about having a custom stompy army, that believe me even when you do lose you will have your opponent crapping his/her pants when you roll all that scrap iron out on to the battle field for deployment. and thats as good as winning.
