Art pens (.5mm)

Hi guys,

Looking for a few tips about writing/ painting lettering onto Black Templar shoulder guards and other parts, as these guys love covering themselves in zealous text.
Below is an image to give you an idea of what I mean:

I have used the 'Pigma Micron Pen 08 Black .5mm' before to easily create this writing. However the bloody thing seemed to constantly run dry, having to leave it tip down to force ink to the tip.

Does anyone have a better option?

Cheers,
Odinson.

Sakura Pigma pens, especially older ones, sometimes have issues writing specifically on smooth surfaces. Paper, though, soaks up the ink and can sometimes help get the proper wicking action going again. At worst, it just means that it's time for a new pen. Pigmas have a pretty impressive lifespan, but markers don't last forever - luckily, replacement are pretty cheap.
