Warped Space hulk tiles

I received some warped space hulk times in a trade. Ive tried a couple ways to fix them, but have had no luck yet. I am about to build a book press and see if that works.

Have you guys experienced this problem? And have any of you been successful in reversing it?

Warped Space hulk tiles

I've seen some comments on the Sedition Wars threads about similar. It seemed to have happen primarily in humid conditions and mostly in the US. It was mostly resolved by pressing the offending bits so it sounds like you are on he right track.

So after a few days under 50 pounds with some rice most of the tiles laid flat. However some of the larger rooms still show a serious bow. Is there any other methods people suggest? Some people mention sealing the tiles, anyone have experience or advice with this?

Warped Space hulk tiles

I live in a fairly high humidity climate, humid in the morning and evening due to coastal marine layer/fog effect...and even though my tiles are laying flat in the box on my closet shelf, they are starting to show some slight warping. I dont have any advice other than living in a dry/low humidity environment. You could try buying some desiccant ( http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Design-ATD-7886-Replacement-Desiccant/dp/B000OUXA2Q/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1379453581&sr=8-9&keywords=desiccant ) to store in the box with the tiles too..

Look at the threads at Boardgamegeek. This is a common problem related to manufacturing for mass production in a short time. It is not related to humidity. Many suggestions were made but all failed. The best solution is to roll against a can and bend it the other way.
