Usually I would say that another variant would be better than the Vanquisher, but in a GK list it just seems to fill a hole that the army normally can't fill. Leman Russ and Armoured Fist stay behind Aegis and camp, GKSS goes after objectives, Paladins + Dreadknight go hunting/disturbing.

I only take one Leman Russ, because it's only there for AAV dutys, and a bit of long range fire support.
