Dreads are just garbage & the rad grenades are a must as a force multiplier with the dakkadakka banner. Additionally it will give you some fast units with tl plasma & rending. Hide them behind them LR or terrain or outflank. Also useful as late game contestors.

I'm curious why you chose to go with plasma guns & not plasma cannons or missile launchers or something. If your going to take 1 non bolter you should make it something with a longer range to extend you squads effective killing range per the FAQ.

The librarian's wargear is also a waste of points. What is the reasoning behind all that expensive war gear? Drop it except the pfg, & cut some fat to add a whirlwind. The whirlwind is just too good & cheap. The ability to ignore cover & snipe, plus it would have synergy with the rag grenades, you need something to get those tau out from behind their aegis.

If you plan on standing still an aegis would be a good investment, gun or not. Remember it can be placed outside of your deployment zone (in your table HALF). So put it in the middle to extend your bolter threat range & give good board control.
