And then there's your Lord...aside from unlocking Plague Marines, what is he doing? He's not kitted to go with any of your squads at the moment, so that's something you might want to change. At 500 points, he's probably joining a troops choice, so think of it in that sense.

I currently have 22 plague marines painted with death guard colours, (7 Plague models the rest normal chaos modified to nurgle)
- 2 Plasma guns
- Meltagun
- Flamer
- 2 Power Weapons
- Icon of despair
- Powerfist

So i have a few decent options there, i ordered a hellbrute from dark vengeance last night with the multimelta and combat arm so that is my army so far, i got some terminators with:
- Reaper autocannon + powerfist
- Power fist + stormbolter
- Power Maul + Combimelta
- Power Axe + Stormbolter
- Power Axe + Stormbolter
(All currently being painted as nurgle death guard.

And a vindicator somewhere if i can find it so anything from those models would be great

-What role is your Hellbrute filling? I'd use it as a firing magnet, but it can do more things that people tend to give it credit for.

T5/6 army at 500 points! If you take the Gift of Mutation from the Lord, though, you could afford either two flamers or a melta on the Plague Marines. Also may as well give one of the Plague Champions a combi-bolter to make up that last 3pts


The Flamer swap is good, didn't think of that. simply threw the gift in there but 2 flamers is probably the better option.
