I think I much prefer that format to the GD one. Since Codex SM isn't out yet for 6E, I'm instead doing them as a "Counts As" DAs.

I'd would like some feed back on which list would be better for competition, or how to improve them for competition, and keep the theme of the Star Phantoms as presented in the FW books. As I understand them, they are more of a shooty army with a preference for artillery and that is what I have tried to go for with some variation on "purpose". I am also trying to stay away from DA exclusive items.

The veteran dakkanaughts here have a better clue than I on what such a tourny would need.

I realize that both FA lists are very shooty, more suited to anti-hordes, and have very little anit-armour punch, especially against AV14 vehicles. Maybe a way to add that punch, without totally sacrificing the FA concept? (If either of these lists are even competitive.)

Not too sure on this one. I like the artillery aspects (for the theme I think I understand) and the mechanized nature of it but I'm not too sure about everything else. Like most of the lists, I think I have gone more for anti-horde than any real hitting power.
