So my idea is to get the techmarine to bolster the aegis to a 3+ cover save and then everyone sits in there waiting for the other team to come to me. My only worry is if i play this list against tau because they are the kings of shooting.

Acolytes can only have 3 special weapons per henchmen squad. Also they should have some transport (preferably a chimera) for protection.

The Aegis can't be modified by the Techmarine because they don't count as ruins.


A setup I like to use is:
2 Jokaeros
2 Boltgun Acolytes
3 Plasma Gun Acoltyes
Chimera

Since you are over the points limit we need to trim the list down. The monkeys are good, but they are expensive (both points and the wallet). Perhaps one or two squads with monkeys and the rest cheap and hard hitting.

To me this could be interesting as the champion goes with one sqaud of knight and eversor with the other for a butt ton of attacks. Or i could sacrifice the eversor for another rhino and something else.
