Having removed it with brake fluid and, when that failed, Fairy Power Spray, the remaining residue was gooey in the recesses and heavily stained on the surfaces. I did proceed to lightly sand away the residue where I could, but even on the areas where I know I'd sanded it's pitted. Any help?
