				<title>Chapter Creator 2.0 (Updated 10/02/13)</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ You guys asked and pleaded, now with the new Space Marine codex just around the door you are going to have your wish:<br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 24px; line-height: normal;"><b>CHAPTER CREATOR 2.0 IS COMING</b></span><br /> <br /> I have refined the rules for creating your own Chapter to be much more structured, balanced, and in line with how <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> is doing their supplement books.<br /> <br /> <b>UPDATE:</b> I've reworked the structure of the new Chapter Creator a bit and reworked what Chapter Traits are available. There are now five paths: Courage, Ferocity, Piety, Wisdom and Zeal. Each Path is based on two major chapters (and perhaps some Traitor ones~). Courage is based on White Scars, Space Wolves and Blood Ravens. Ferocity is based on Blood Angels and Raven Guard (as well as some oddball chapters like Minotaurs). Piety is based on Imperial Fists, Ultramarines, and Red Scorpions. Wisdom is based on the Iron Hands and Salamanders. Finally, Zeal is based on Dark Angels and Black Templars.<br /> <br /> There are also vastly more Chapter Traits than there were before when I originally posted this. At current, Courage and Ferocity are finished, just working on Piety, Wisdom, and Zeal.<br /> <br /> I'd just like to lay down some ground rules for people about this topic:<br /> <b>*</b> No "road blocking." If you don't like or fancy an idea/rule or think an idea/rule is flawed or broken, please offer a reason why and attempt to offer a suggestion to fix the issue.<br /> <b>*</b> No asking why I am doing this project, it isn't constructive and tends to derail threads. I'm doing this for those who wanted a new incarnation of my original Chapter Creator and because, like you, I am a huge fan of Warhammer 40,000 (and that should be reason enough).<br /> <b>*</b> Please keep all replies constructive, civil, and as helpful as you can.<br /> <br /> <b><u>What Will Chapter Creator 2.0 Contain?</u></b><br /> <b>*</b> In this version, you will select a Path your chapter follows. Each Path has its own allowed Chapter Traits which you will be able to select from. I plan on adding more Chapter Traits as we go.<br /> <b>*</b> All Chapter Traits have a Chapter Point cost. Chapter Points are only used for Chapter Creation and have no effect on army points costs during an actual game or army list creation. This is to help bring better balance to the system instead of Defects/Drawbacks, which I view as far too easily abused. Points costs are currently not in effect and will be added in once there is a good cross-section of Chapter Traits is available.<br /> <b>*</b> Later on a Character Creator will be added to the Chapter Creator 2.0.<br /> <br /> <b><u>What Needs Work?</u></b><br /> <b>*</b> Well firstly the Paths need to be balanced out so each has an equal amount of Chapter Traits. This should help fix itself the more Chapter Traits are added.<br /> <b>*</b> More Chapter Traits are welcome. Try to base Chapter Traits off of the Combat Tactics or Chapter Organization of official <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> chapters if you can, but original ideas are welcome as well.<br /> <b>*</b> Each Path requires its own set of Warlord Traits and Relics. I'm horrible at thinking up good Warlord Traits, so any suggestions are very welcome.<br /> <b>*</b> Path of the Courageous is a bit lacking in the fluff department and in the Chapter Traits department, so rounding and defining this particular Path out is definitely a priority.<br /> <b>*</b> Chapter Traits need costs. Each Chapter has 10 Chapter Points to spend. I plan on having the ones that alter Force Organization to be pretty expensive, just not sure how to cost things yet.]]></description>
