My friends father has a cutter that does this and we wanted to try making one. I seem to remember Infinity have some on the forums or download section but i cant find any.

I've got a bunch of CAM files in SVG format that I use for buildings, but normally you need some specific information about the machine being used in order to make good, useable files out of them. Even lasers have a kerf that needs to be considered and making minor adjustments to all of the various areas the kerf comes into play really ends up being an entirely new file...so not too much help.

That said...if you want to make those adjustments, you can use PDO format files and export as a DXF. From there, adjust for material thickness, kerf, remove tabs and only use flat parts (no fold lines...well, you can fold, but that is more advanced). Save out in the format needed for your machine and the software controller (some use colored lines to specify depth of cut for through cuts versus etching, others use line weight).
