				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys just figured <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> submit a list with the brand spankin new space marine 6th edition codex and see what you guys think. <br /> <br /> Built for 1750/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(650);'>BAO</span> type formats: <br /> <br /> Chapter tactics: ravenguard<br /> <br /> Iron hands is also another one i'm thinking of. Assuming the units stay in their pods then the only one who would use the scout (that dont already have it) are the bikes and single foot tactical squad (and the hyperios/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span> technically as well). Given that he's still 220 points.. another list is to go with the ever useful storm talon: <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>: <br /> Space marine captain with artificer armour, bike, thunderhammer - 160 <br /> <br /> Elite: <br /> Sternguard x 10 in a pod - 265 <br /> Siege Dread in a pod - 155 <br /> <br /> Troops: <br /> 10 Scouts with meltabombs and land speeder storm (with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(336);'>HF</span>) - 160 <br /> 10 tacticals with Meltabombs, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(563);'>MG</span> and combi-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(563);'>MG</span> in a pod - 195 <br /> 5 man bike squad with 2 grav guns - 135<br /> 8 bikes with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> attack bike, 2 grav guns - 253 <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(35);'>FA</span>: <br /> 2 x skyhammer storm talon - 250 <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(57);'>HS</span>: <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span> - 100 <br /> Whirlwind - 65 <br /> <br /> Leaving me with 12 points for a combi somewhere or heavy weapon for someone. <br /> <br /> Pros:<br />      - i convert the 5 man tactical squad which could only ever hold backfield objectives into a 5 man bike that's faster and more threatening and makes more use of white scars. <br />      - I gain much more manuverable firepower in the form of the talons, and which is also more accurate vs ground targets and can pin (strafing run) <br />        (hyperios are twin linked <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 8 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> 3 but only bs3) <br />      - overall better at countering flyers over the long haul since i have a swivelling <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> to do rear shots<br /> Cons: <br />     - no more interceptor, so no countering flyers immediatly<br />     - i lose 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> shots and 5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> shots in place of 8 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> shots, 6 skyhammer (autocannon) shots and 6 grav shots. so more volume, but more situational volume<br />     - lose durability, the hyperios have never really died, and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>av</span> 13 5++ of the contemptor is pretty tough too. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Pretty versatile list you have here.<br /> <br /> My advise would be to keep the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> loadout, make the sternies 10men so they can combat squad, keep the ironclad loadout, keep the scouts at 10men and w/ no <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(440);'>LSS</span> and camp them on home objectives with snipers. Keep the tacs w/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> , take the 5men bike squad and the 8men bike squad loadouts. Take out the whirlwind and try to fit in 2?3 stormtalons with a diversity of both typhoon and skyhammers to maintain versatility. Or maybe just get a hunter/stalker(I rly do not know how effective either one is) to counter those necron or elder armies(and fliers). Keep the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span> and keep it with the scouts so they can benefit from the bonus cover saves<br /> <br /> Hope you found the above somewhat useful!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Actually the Contemptor is still <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 5(almost 100% positive), but it takes up an elite slot, not heavy. The Mortis Contemptor(the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> version) is the one that got dropped to BS4. <br /> <br /> I would keep the scouts at 10 man with the speeder, but give 5 sniper rifles and the sgt a combi-something. Or go total snipers and drop the speeder and split them up in your own deployment zone.<br /> <br /> I dont know how survivable the Hyperios launchers are, but since you have a spare heavy slot due to the Contemptor moving over to an Elite slot, drop those and add a Hyperios Whirlwind since you are using <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> anyway. However if the launchers can be spread out as individual guns, then that might be a better route.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah the mortis contemptor is the model i had and one I was using. <br /> <br /> The scouts will, normally, be split so that 5 are in the backfield objective holding (ideally I would have the points for rifles, but i think i might only be able to give them 2 sniper rifles) <br /> <br /> The hyperios are a stationary unit that are immobile artillary (t6 tho instead of t7) with 3 krak skyfire/interceptor shots with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>bs</span> 3 and twin linked. <br /> They are pretty solid and durable, though not as mobile as the talon and ultimetly less fire (since on average you only get like 2 hits with them), so I dunno<br /> <br /> Yeah if you guys look at the latest iteration of the list the sternguard are a full 10 for combat squadding goodness, the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(440);'>LSS</span> now is pretty solid because it has a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(336);'>HF</span> and a large blast blind <br /> <br /> we'll see, i'll be testing this all out against a quad riptide list (the one from nova at 1750 instead) so i'll post back with the results! ]]></description>
